Stock Hopping!

Moving some of our products to the Mountain View General Store was the best move we could have made business-wise. Our stock shelves are low because at MVGS Clay Critters are a huge success! We'll have to spend weeks catching up with all that has been sold recently. Every time Crow and I go into MVGS, Tina tells us of another Clay Critter sold.

The most recent exciting one sold was Crow's gorgeous Sunning Snat. My favorite Snat thus far, I was sad to hear he was sold, but glad he has a good home. Just like Beauty, now someone out there is enjoying the Snat on their window sill or shelf.

I updated the site to reflect our current low stock. You will see some standard Clay Critters (like Gecko and Spots) are currently SOLD OUT. Do not despair, they will be coming back soon. Even now Crow and I are scurrying to re-create old favorites and add new ones.

In addition, our product descriptions have a new look. I updated the look of the descriptions to match each other (I think). The uniform feel should add a touch of professionalism to our on-line store. If you see any that are different, please tell me!

Peace.

Blue Bird of Happiness

I'm not sure what she is, but I had to share. We tossed around a name for her and Blue Bird of Happiness seems to be what stuck. This originates from my parents', and their continued desire to find "The Blue Bird Cafe". I have yet to discover what exactly that means, though we did actually find a cafe years ago called the Blue Bird Cafe, neither of them were satisfied with it. Perhaps, someday, I will know. For now the Blue Bird of Happiness continues to be a tradition in our household. Whenever anyone has a birthday, we wish on a candle placed in a bluebird candle holder.

So, since this funky magnet makes me happy to look at, she has enough feathers to suggest she is a bird, and she's blue - I've dubbed her the Blue Bird of Happiness. She is currently on display at the Mountain View General Store; however I will create her cousins and put them for sale soon!

Another Weekend - Part II

We had a display of our goodies today too. Today we got an entire table to ourselves and I had a chance to create a fun display. Tina is nice enough to continue displaying them tomorrow (event continues tomorrow) even though we're not going to be there. This marks the First Official Public Display for Coyote's Blessings. Yay another landmark passed! Here are some shots of our display.

Thanks goes to Tina for helping us out and carrying our products.

Overall View - you can see all almost our products laid out together. There are a few knoblings missing, and none of either guest artist's goodies there. The magnets appear later in the series.
The newest members of our family are snats! Everyone loves them. Here is Sunning Snat, Snatling and Flower Pot Snat. Flower Pot Snat is a Mountain View General store exclusive! The other two can be found on our site. These are all part of the Andromeda Galaxy collection - creatures from the AG!
Friends old and new make their debut. Christmas ornaments, Crow, Gothica and Tsuchi are visible in this picture.

Mouse! Still eating his cheese. Eventually he will nibble through the whole block. Three new knoblings have joined the Knobling Brigade. Mousie and The Singer are featured here.

No display would be complete without KE Milrona's books. Orphan Quest and DOT are featured here. Remember, NTML is coming out near the end of the year!

Another Weekend

Another weekend helping Tina out at the Mountain View General Store. This time it was for the "A La Carte" Festival (one of the town's big art and wine festivals). We hung out and worked on various projects, including Crow creating two on-the-spot painting (pictures forth-coming). The event is happening tomorrow as well, so if you're in the area - consider checking it out!

The shop's been updated with some more magnet knoblings and a couple of snats. There is also a snapsnot of an amazing sunburst painting created by Tina's husband Griff. While he is not an official guest artist, Tina was nice enough to allow us to post his creation on Coyote's Blessings store. Seriously though, who can say 'no' to free advertising?

Although we did not get a chance to walk around, Tina made sure we were busy. We helped her create some signs to encourage patrons. We also learned how to work the register. What register? Yes, she'd been generous enough to give us some space in her back room as a small artists' studio in exchange for us watching the store once a week. We start Tuesday!

Even here we can get a chance to advertise.

The Immigration House - A mock up of a house from the 1800s that a family of four lived in for many years. Though their house was not quite as small as this one, this Kwanis Club creation is about 2/3 scale. Still not a very big place to house four people! This mock up lives outside the Mountain View General store.

Tina did her best to create attractive displays for the local artists she represents.

"Side" yard shot. The way Tina decorates her space suggests a cozy place, welcoming to old and new friends alike.

The Mountain View General store's side yard is different almost every day. You can see the nice table and chairs Tina offered for tired patrons of the A La Cart festival today.

This is a sign in-progress. Hopefully Tina will send me a copy of the finished piece.

I created this sign on Tina's request. Nothing elaborate, just some fun with chalk. She used liquid chalk to make this easel a chalkboard too!

Be sure to run the gambit of networking to help support us - Twitter, Facebook, etc. Thanks and please (as usual).

Pictures

Here are some pictures of last weekend's "I Love Mountain View" event.

The Announcers for the Parade. They had a nice umbrella to keep cool.

Beauty Queen. Sadly, I didn't get a shot of the embroidery of her cloak.

Train

The members of our local Quota strut their stuff.

Local Law Enforcement. They followed the parade.

Live Music - The town set up a stage in the park after the parade with live music, sketches and demonstrations. There were food booths and kids' activities too.

Weekend Events and Future Plans

Crow and I spent Saturday helping Tina at the General Store out. There was a big town event that included a parade. We passed out balloons for Tina's store and added some products to it. Pictures are forth-coming, they should be up within a few days.

There are rumors of another guest artist joining the Coyote's Blessings family. I won't reveal names or their contributions until I know all the details. For now, suffice to say, I am looking forward to welcoming a new face.

Speaking of future plans, the household has begun to discuss Halloween. Although we originally planned to do "Nightmare Before Christmas", our theme may change. Did I mention this a few posts ago? De ja vu.

Peace.

Wheelbarrow!

An over-all shot of the wheelbarrow. Crow did the logo on the side and I did the grape vines. The ridiculous writing on the bottom is mine too.

A close up of the vines. You can't see the grapes very well. We forgot a palette so we had to use the drop cloth.

Crow did the majority of this free hand by just looking at Ava's logo on their store's awning. You can see the grapes better too.

The girl is the 12-year-old daughter of the Ava's owners.

I tried for the "paintbrush on a fence look" to keep with the rustic, white-washed over-all theme of the wheelbarrow.
