The story of the bird

This morning Crow noticed the Crystal Bird knobling I made for Tina was missing. Tina told us a story about a bird with a broken wing. Tina and Laura, a friend of hers, found an injured bird near the store. They took it to the Peninsula Wildlife Rescue for treatment. The staff assessed the bird. They told the two friends that the bird had a broken wing, and needed to be put down. Though its injures were not fatal, the quality of of the bird's life would not be very good.

Tina and Laura came back to Mountain View. Tina, seeing her friend in great distress, offered to loan Crystal Bird to Laura. "There is always beauty in the world, and life continues to strive forward." So Crystal Bird is spending time in Laura's office. Perhaps someone will stop by and she will be able to tell the story of the bird that touched her, and inspired her to get a bird for herself. A real one that is. Laura is holding on to Crystal Bird until she gets her bird.

For the Coyote's Blessings crew, it means we have achieved a step on the artists' ladder - one of our art pieces is officially "on loan".
