Welcome to August!
The last two days have been a cleaning frenzy around here. This morning we had a visit from my mama and her best friend, Darla. The cleaning / organizing madness was well worth it - the tasks needed to be done and now the place looks great.
Yes, our dolphin is named after Darla. Darla is an amazing person. She went away with a star window cling, destined to find a home in a forested cabin in Eureka to (hopefully) prevent birds from crashing into her cabin's front window. She also bought Buzz (the Toy Airplane) for her youngest grandson.
My mom had a good time admiring our new products as well as experiments we never intend to sell. She was happy to see the place to clean and picked up. Of course we didn't tell her what was in the closets. (Just kidding!... everything's actually in the garage >.>). Although she didn't buy anything, she did bring pastries, which is almost as good.
Between a multitude of praises, suggestions and a small business transaction it was a great morning. A good way to start the month.
